Narnia’s Last Stand

The Chronicles of Narnia franchise continues with the third installment, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. But don’t be surprised if this lifeless entry is the final glimpse we have of Narnia and its heavenly ruler Aslan. Read my review over at Film Journal.
Distressing. Because the effects were spectacular, and the script was kind of a “telling, not showing” mess, and we could have enjoyed the created world for so much longer.
Oh, well. If it does well enough, perhaps Disney will get another screenwriter.
